Energy Grants & Schemes
The UK government have a NET-ZERO emissions target that they must reach by 2050. They are aiming to be half way to NET-ZERO by 2030. However, the UK is no where near reaching this target!
As a result, the government are releasing many different grants and schemes to help improve the energy efficiency of homes, and encourage more people to switch to renewable energy.

HUG2 (Home Upgrade Grant)
HUG offers energy efficiency upgrades and low carbon heating via local authority funding, to households in England that:

are low income
-
are off the gas grid
-
have an an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) between D and G
We are currently working on this scheme within Devon & Cornwall.
SHDF2.1 (Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund)
The Social Housing De-carbonisation Fund (SHDF) aims to upgrade the social housing stock currently with an EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) below a C up to that standard, by installing energy efficient measures. We are currently working on this scheme with housing associations in Devon and Cornwall.
