Retrofit Assessment

Dartmoor Energy have a team of highly qualified retrofit assessors with full competencies to complete assessment on all manners of properties.  Our team are PAS2030:2019 certified and have completed PAS2035 standards of practice training and assessments.​ 

 

The Retrofit Assessments involve the following:

• Occupancy Assessment - This will involves talking with the occupants, to understand the heat requirement of the home, ensuring that the heating system and insulation is adequate for their usage. 

• RdSAP Assessment - This involves assessing the energy efficiency of the property, looking at; building materials, U-Values, room dimensions, and heat loss. A report will then be created based on the information gathered. 

• Detailed Floor Plans - This will involve measuring the dimensions of every room in the house and creating a detailed floor plan.

• Condition Report - This will involve assessing the condition of the property and the existing energy efficiency measures.

Our team will draw on our extensive knowledge and experience in building constructions, ventilation and heat loss assessments, to provide you with an in-depth retrofit assessment. 

The information gather by the assessor will be reviewed by a retrofit coordinator and used to create the retrofit design, and plan the whole project.
