Whole House Energy Efficiency Report

The Whole House Energy Efficiency Report (WHEER) is our most in-depth survey. This survey is the perfect solution for someone looking to find out the most effective way to improve the energy efficiency of their home, whilst taking into account the building's unique characteristics and requirements. Our team will assess the feasibility of a range of renewable energy technologies, as well as assess the impact of insulation, upgraded windows and ventilation. The WHEER is a 30 - 40 page document detailing all our findings and recommendations, including cost estimates and running costs. A complimentary consultation will be offered after the report has been provided, where we will offer additional guidance and access to our installer network, if you wish to implement any of our recommended measures.

Heat Loss Survey

This survey is best suited to someone looking to install a new heating system into their property. The heat loss survey is a 1-2 hour survey looking at the construction of the property on a room-by-room basis. Using our advanced software, we are able to work out the heat loss of the property and the overall heat demand. After our survey, you will be provide with a heat loss table detailing the heat loss and heat demand of the whole property, on a room-by-room basis. This data can be used by an installer when installing a new heating system, providing them with accurate data to be able to size the heating system and radiators appropriately.

Is your home heat pump ready?

This survey is the perfect solution for someone thinking of having a heat pump installed in their property. This report will include a full heat loss assessment. The surveyor will also check the feasibility regarding: grant funding; electricity connection; available outdoor space; lower temperature radiators; and underfloor heating. The report will include a full radiators schedule, based on the lower 45c temperature that heat pumps operate at. After the report has been provided, a complementary consultation will be offered to discuss the option of having a heat pump installed and to provide access to our installer network.

Landlord Survey

This survey is essential for any landlord with a property that currently has an EPC rating of D or below. New regulations will be coming into place forcing landlords to improve the EPC rating of their properties to a C or above. This survey will look at the measures that can be feasibly implemented in the property. The report will include how the implemented measures will affect the EPC and the estimated costs involved. After the report has been provided, a complimentary consultation will be offered to discuss the recommended measures and to provide access to our installer network, if needed.

Domestic Energy Assessment

This survey is designed for someone who is looking to sell or rent their property, or apply for government funded home improvements. A domestic energy assessment is completed to attain an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC). This certificate rates the property based on it's age, construction, insulation, windows and heating system.

Retrofit Assessment

This survey is a basic version of the Whole House Energy Efficiency Report (WHEER). This survey is compulsory when a homeowner is looking to have government funded home improvements, such as ECO 3 and ECO 4, as it must be included in the application process. This survey can be completed as a private assessment, however the data is not collated in a format that is particularly beneficial to a homeowner.
